News from Divisions Two and Three

Debut boys see red

Furious Berwick Rangers saw red twice as their nine man side tumbled to a one goal defeat to Queen's Park on their second division debut.

Gordon Forrest and Alan Neill were red carded, as a Steve Marshall goal was enough to separate the sides.

French trialist striker Fal Eddy earned a point for Clydebank in a 2-2 draw with Stirling Albion, scoring a double in between strikes from Ally Graham and Craig Feroz.

Stenhousemuir beat Queen of the South 4-3 thanks to a last minute David Menelaws strike.

Promotion hopefuls Arbroath and Partick Thistle shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

And Stranraer started off with a comfortable 2-0 win over Forfar with Ian Harty and Mike Gerraghty on target.

Division Three: Accies triumph

Hamilton bounced back from their midweek financial worries to emphasise their position as promotion favourites with a 2-0 win over Dumbarton.

New boys Peterhead were also celebrating after a 2-0 win over Montrose.

But Elgin, had it much harder and went down 2-1 at Brechin and East Stirling suffered a 2-0 defeat by Cowdenbeath.

And a last minute own-goal by Jamie McKenzie earned the points for East Fife in a 1-0 win over a dejected Albion Rovers.
