Cowdenbeath manager Keith Wright is wary of the threat Stenhousemuir will pose at Central Park and has heaped praise on their manager.
Wright admits to being a big fan of what Stenny manager John McVeigh has done with the Ochilview club.
Cowdenbeath will be without Ian Mauchlen, who continues to struggle with his Achilles problem, but are otherwise at full strength.
Wright said: "This will be a tight one I reckon. I saw Stenhousemuir in the cup and John McVeigh has got them well organised and working for each other. They are a young side who have a lot of ambition and drive."
McVeigh, meanwhile, is in extremely confident mood ahead of the trip to face Cowden.
The visitors are boosted by the return to action of both Steve McCormick, who had flu, and David McFarlane who has recovered from injury.
McVeigh said: "I'm confident that we are as good, if not better, than anybody in the league. I haven't seen anything that would frighten us."
